In industries mezzanines are semi permanent structures. These are usually built of steel, aluminum and fiber glass. These structures can be removed and reconstructed at any point of time. These are built between two permanent original stories. Mezzanines are also seen at departmental shops for storing tools and materials. The high roof of shop is usually used for mezzanine flooring and offices are put either below or above it. These are also used for warehousing, manufacturing or distributing in industries. Industrial mezzanine floors are either shelf supported or rack supported allowing a high amount of material to be stored inside the level.
